About Scott Cutter

With over 30 years of experience, both living and working in Costa Rica, I bring a unique perspective to all of my clients. I am originally from Birmingham, Alabama, and went to the University of Colorado at Boulder. After graduation, what began as an exploration into Costa Rica became a lifestyle, love affair, and career that has been full of passion, growth, challenges, and transformation. I am now a dual citizen of Costa Rica and the United States and have raised my two daughters with my Costa Rican wife here in the Manuel Antonio area. My approach involves combining my decades of real estate experience and knowledge with perspective and insight that integrates cultural, social, economic, and even geopolitical insights that are critical to making wise investments about selling or purchasing real estate in Costa Rica.

 

My brother and partner, Todd Cutter, started this company with a commitment to guiding clients on a macro-to-micro level journey, which is client-focused, trusting that, with a service-first mentality, results will always follow. Decades later, with the largest independent brokerage firm in Costa Rica, with offices servicing nearly all of the national territory, our guiding principles have not changed. With hundreds of millions of dollars in sales completed, ranging from simple parcels of land to full development sales and launches, I bring a diversity of experience and insight that is challenging to find in local or regional agents.

 

As a broker, I work tirelessly to support each of my agents and ensure that they have the best tools and support in the industry. I have a passion for the professional family we have built and ultimately feel that we are entrusted with an awesome responsibility and opportunity with each listing and client who seeks out our services. My daily focus is to honor that responsibility with excellence.

 

In addition to my work leading 2Costa Rica Real Estate, I have also spent the last decade as the Sales Director and one of the development managers at Marina Pez Vela. Leading the incredible planning, design, development, construction, sales, and administration of this project has been both rewarding and also an incredible enrichment of the skills and tools I provide to our development clients around Costa Rica.

 

Whether I am filling my role as a father, husband, broker, or developer, my commitment is to bring an unmatched work ethic, commitment to integrity, communication, and service to each relationship. Costa Rica has given me a life I could have only dreamed of and to be earning my living and providing for my family, by having the opportunity to help others here in paradise, is the story of my life, of which there are many chapters yet to write.
