About Todd Cutter

Having lived and worked as a real estate broker in Costa Rica for over 25 years, I have developed an invaluable level of experience adding value to buyers and sellers. As a broker at 2Costa Rica Real Estate, I take great pride in translating the lessons of success from hundreds of transactions each year into valuable insight for all of the agents and clients that work with 2Costa Rica Real Estate. I graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in Spanish for International Business before choosing Costa Rica to build a future and raise my family. I grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, and my background brings a unique perspective combining both my experience in Costa Rica with a clear understanding of the US and Canadian expectations in a real estate transaction. I have personally sold some of the most iconic legacy properties in Costa Rica, including One Villa Real (twice), Shangri La (twice), and One Hacienda del Sol, as well as have extensive experience with developer clients and sophisticated buyers who seek an in-depth advisory before making decisions about their investments.

I speak Spanish and English, and while I work out of our main office in Avenida Escazu, serving the Central Valley, I have extensive experience and knowledge of the data and listings from all of our offices, given my work with the OMNI MLS integration, and serving as a broker to support agents in Tamarindo, Nosara, Jaco, Manuel Antonio, Dominical, and the Central Valley. I have overseen over $3 billion in sales of all of our agents, and have personally sold properties and businesses ranging from $250,000 to $22,000,000. I have also been the broker of record for more than a dozen properties sold at auction, supervised the marketing team at 2Costa Rica Real Estate, work in business development, technology, and agent support. I am one of 8 global members of the Executive Committee for the Who's Who in Luxury Real Estate, and a founding member of REALM.
